The Office of Child Support Services (OCSS) Correspondence Services Unit is responsible for processing researching and addressing client concerns and complaints by sorting categorizing and responding to approximately 50000 mail-in inquiries per month from custodial and non-custodial parents out of state child support agencies and referrals from other units regarding post order case issues.
The Office of Child Support Services (OCSS) is recruiting one (1) Clerical Associate III to function as Senior Clerk for Correspondence Unit who will:
-Review correspondence from clients/respondents or employers reporting changes in addresses and/or employment status.
-Access ASSETS to review undeliverable respondent and/or client mail returned address verification requests and other related items
-Enter various Correspondences into Customer Services (CS) Track system for referral to other OCSE business area.
-Scan and upload documents into the Automated State Support Enforcement & Tracking System (ASSETS) Document Log using standard indexing categorization for electronically filing administrative credentials.
-Ensure that documents are viewable in the document log.
-Maintain department reports and logs image documents provided by clients for electronic transmission to appropriate OCSE unit for resolution of customer dilemmas.
-Assist in other special projects as needed.
Work Location: 151 West Broadway 5th floor
Hours: M-F 9:30AM - 5:30PM

Qualifications :
Qualification Requirements
A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a States department of education or a recognized accrediting organization and one year of satisfactory clerical experience.
Skills Requirement
Keyboard familiarity with the ability to type at a minimum of 100 key strokes (20 words) per minute.
