Sentara Obici is hiring a Neurodiagnostic Technologist to join our team!
*This position qualifies for a Sign On Bonus! Ask for more details.*
SHIFT: M-F 7:30am - 4:30pm; Call Required. Travel to other area hospitals is required as needed.
A Neurodiagnostic Tech performs a wide variety of neurophysiological diagnostic studies in the laboratory intra-operatively and in the intensive care settings; operates and performs preventative maintenance on complex monitoring instruments; documents all acquired data for interpretation; ensures tests performed are properly ordered charged and reported; makes independent assessments that may indicate urgent medical interaction.
Education:
Graduate of an accredited EEG/Neurodiagnostic Tech Program.
Certification/Licensure:
Basic Life Support
Experience:
1 Year of experience as an EEG/Neurodiagnostic Tech or;
1 year of experience is waived for new graduates of an accredited EEG/Neurodiagnostic Tech Program.
