ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Creates and ensures a fun-filled and exciting environment where the execution of Fast and Flawless service is paramount.
  • Provides timely accurate and courteous beverage service to all guests while maintaining a clean organized and safe work environment.
  • Follows all cash handling procedures as described in department-specific cash handling procedures and internal controls.
  • Ensures all drink requests are properly rung on MICROS systems.
  • Adheres to all service standards.
  • Abides by all laws pertaining to the service and sale of alcoholic beverages as provided in the property alcohol management program.
  • Acts as a role model and presents oneself as a credit to Harrahs and encourages others to do the same.
  • Adheres to all department and company policies and procedures.
  • Performs all related duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior restaurant experience is required.
  • 2 years of service experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of all drinks recipes and garnishes.
  • Ability to be flexible with schedule to include nights holidays and weekends.
  • Follows uniform guidelines.
  • Clean and neat appearance.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

JOB DEMANDS:

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. and carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • The position requires 10% standing and 90% walking.
  • Requires some pushing and twisting.
  • Requires frequent bending kneeling climbing stooping and reaching above and below shoulders.
  • Must be able to respond to touch speech smell aural and visual cues.
  • Must be able to exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to 10 (ten) hours in length.
  • Must be able to work in areas containing secondary smoke high noise levels bright lights and dust.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment involving constant internal and external customer contact.
  • Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling customer needs and concerns
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift and mobility to move easily around the entire property.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $9.00 per hour Plus tips.

Shift Details:

  • Late Swing Shift: 8:00 pm -4:30 am (working days will vary)
