Chelmsford Public Schools - Announcement of Vacancy for Community Education Summer 2025 ProgrammingThe Chelmsford Public Schools is now accepting applications for the following anticipated vacancy. The District reserves the right to change this vacancy or not fill this vacancy based on further staffing changes enrollment or : Summer Basketball Program CoordinatorLocation: Community Education Summer ProgramThe Summer Basketball Program Coordinator will facilitate our Youth Basketball Skills and Drills program. The 2025 season will run from July 7th to August 6th with games from 6-8pm on Mondays and Wednesdays with additional nights added based on enrollment numbers. All players will have two 1-hour sessions per week. Administrative Tasks:Recruit & hire refereesResponsible for overseeing all referees are Cori checked and all paperwork is received prior to workingTrain and schedule refereesOrganize and schedule skills & drills open house information night in early June (shared duty)Assist in marketing Outreach to youth leagues to recruit annuallyBe onsite for all program nightsResponsible for all emergencies and injuries during program nightsReview rosters and listsAnswer parent emails (shared duty)Meet with Chelmsford Community Education StaffReview established rules and policiesCommunicate with and supervise all refereesT shirt pricing ordering organization and distribution (shared duty)Work with CommEd staff to determine weather cancellation callsManage and transport required equipment to and from CHS Communicate all pertinent program information and issues to CommEd staffSupplies: work with CommEd staff prior to placing ordersPayroll: provide CommEd staff with payroll spreadsheet (including back up) in a timely mannerSalary is based on students of Students Salary50-99 students $1625100-149 students $1925150-199 students $2225200-249 students $2525250-300 students $2825
