About the Role:
The Electrical Construction Field Superintendent (ECFS) plays a critical leadership role in our Construction Department by overseeing field supervisors and coordinating manpower across multiple projects. The ECFS ensures our teams operate efficiently safely and professionally while promoting Excels core values in every job we do.
The ECFS blends hands-on field coordination people management and strategic planning. Youll be responsible for jobsite readiness workforce development policy enforcement and quality outcomesleading projects and people to success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Staff Oversight (25%): Allocate manpower coordinate with project managers monitor job progress and support field supervisors in project planning.
- Administrative Duties (25%): Manage time reporting support HR and training processes uphold company policies and drive accountability.
- Workforce Development (20%): Mentor supervisors identify skills gaps implement training plans and promote leadership growth in the field.
- Job Closeout (10%): Collaborate with PMs and Safety to analyze project outcomes and improve future performance.
- Policy Enforcement (10%): Maintain jobsite safety protect company assets and model Excels standards and values.
- Other Duties (10%): Jump in where needed to support team and operational success.

- Minimum 6 years of construction or service experience
- Valid drivers license with a clean record
- Deep knowledge of electrical code OSHA and safety protocols
- Strong leadership presence and field supervision skills
- Preferred: Journeyman or Master License and 2 years as a Project Foreman
- Experienced construction professional with a strong background in field operations
- Clear confident communicator with strong organizational skills
- Mechanically inclined process-oriented and safety-focused
- Trusted team builder who develops talent and drives results
