Sr. Duty Drawback Analyst TCRS#4460
HIGH LEVEL OVERVIEW
The Sr. Duty Drawback Analyst is responsible for end-to-end tasks associated with processing duty drawback claims including filing privileges application analyzing import and export data preparing and submitting drawback claims and providing detailed updates to clients.
This is a hybrid position in Houston TX.
EXPECTATIONS
- Compile and analyze import and export data from a variety of sources
- Prepare and submit drawback claims with thoroughness and accuracy
- Maintain documentation records in accordance with regulations and company policy
- Stay informed on current global import and export regulations shifts
- Understand complex trade regulations and their impact on existing processes
- Build solid relationships with internal and external partners
- Exhibit in depth knowledge of Duty Drawback processes across multiple industries
ESSENTIALS
- 3-5 years experience with Trade Compliance regulations and Duty Drawback laws
- Solid understanding of supply chain import and export processes
- Operational knowledge of HTS Valuation COO FTA AD/CVD etc.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced collaborative environment
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Strong data analytics and attention to detail
- Adaptable self-starter comfortable with ambiguity
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or other data analytic tools
- Licensed Customs Broker preferred
- Degree preferred
