Position Overview
The Team and Content Lead serves as both a classroom teacher and a grade-level instructional leader. This hybrid role is responsible for facilitating collaborative planning supporting instructional excellence and ensuring alignment with school-wide expectations. The Team and Content Lead is a key driver of student achievement and teacher development within their grade.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and facilitate all grade-level content meetings fostering a positive and productive team culture.
- Monitor the completion and quality of instructional exemplars for the grade.
- Provide timely actionable feedback on instructional planning to grade-level teachers.
- Model effective instructional strategies in classrooms as needed.
- Observe grade-level teachers and offer constructive feedback to support growth.
- Conduct weekly gradebook checks to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Communicate and ensure implementation of school-wide culture and instructional expectations within the grade.
- Review and analyze data trends with the grade-level curriculum leader to inform instruction and intervention1.
- Complete all previously outlined team lead responsibilities.
- Fulfill all classroom teacher duties as described in the teacher job description.

Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Education or related field (Masters preferred).
- Valid teaching certification.
- Prior experience in teacher leadership instructional coaching or grade-level/content leadership strongly preferred.
- Evidence of effective classroom instruction and student achievement gains.
