Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelors degree; or a high school diploma or GED and four years of customer service administrative or office experience; or a combination of education and experience.

Preferred Requirements:

• Experienced at using security monitoring systems and equipment.
• Exhibits excellent customer service.

This role involves monitoring alarms CCTV footage highly confidential information and other surveillance equipment responding to incidents and maintaining accurate records of all activities and incidents.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

The Monitoring Center Administrator is responsible for monitoring alarms CCTV footage and other surveillance equipment responding to incidents and maintaining accurate records of all activities and incidents.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Promptly respond to alarms security breaches and other emergencies.
• Coordinate with security personnel law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
• Dispatch security personnel to incident locations and provide necessary information for effective response.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports of all monitored activities incidents and responses.
• Document and report any security breaches incidents or anomalies observed during monitoring.
• Ensure all data is stored securely and in compliance with GSU polices and regulations.
• Communicates effectively with various safety and first responders across campuses.
• Provide clear and concise information and instructions during incidents.
• Adhere to all GSU policies procedures and legal regulations related to security and monitoring.
• Assists employees visitors and clients with security-related inquiries and concerns.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
