You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailADEQ is seeking a passionate water quality professional to aid us in further developing the Ambient Monitoring and Pesticides Program in the State of Arizona. The position will require intermediate knowledge skills and abilities in the disciplines surrounding water quality sampling technical writing and assist in project management of permit applications. This position will involve travel in the State of Arizona as needed and based on Program objectives. The goal of the Program is to establish data sets and summaries relating to the conditions of groundwater quality in the State to further our mission of protecting and enhancing human health and the environment.
This position is available for remote work on a full time basis within Arizona. (including virtual office arrangements ).

The Environmental Scientist 2 will collect data provide technical support draft technical reports work with Senior level staff and manage spreadsheets to benefit outcomes of the Ambient Monitoring and Pesticides Program. The role will also involve Individual Permitting Work with our Aquifer Protection Program as needed in industries such as Mining and Wastewater.
