POSITION SUMMARY:

The Associate will join KKRs Insurance Division within the Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) group. We are focused on deploying capital on acquisition and reinsurance PRT an integral part of thePRT team the Associate will work closely with members of the team and interface with senior business leaders.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performing pricing and valuation due diligence on PRT transactions. This work would involve the creation of liability cash flows and reserves ALM modeling and financial statement analysis.
  • Providing integration support for completed deals.
  • Assist PRT pricing team members in generating assumptions and financial projections.
  • Assist in creation of presentation materials to report status updates and performance metrics to senior management.
  • Perform comprehensive data reconciliations and report on ongoing experience studies.
  • Support ad-hoc projects and processes.
  • Enhance/streamline existing processes models and management exhibits with a focus on controls and consistency.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree required in Actuarial Science Finance or Mathematics
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience at an insurance company and/or consulting firm prefer experience including PRT
  • Strong skills / experience in modeling and data analysis
  • Strong quantitative and technical abilities including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong experience and skills in Python
  • Solid organizational and time management skills
  • High energy with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment and think clearly under pressure
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently as well as being a team player
  • Drive enthusiasm creativity and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Personal integrity initiative and leadership qualities.

Various jurisdictions have passed pay transparency laws that require companies provide salary ranges for any positions for which they are accepting applications. Global Atlantic has offices in Atlanta Batesville Bermuda Boston Des Moines Hartford Indianapolis and New York City. The base salary range posted below is inclusive of the lowest cost of living geography to the highest in which we have a Global Atlantic office.

Global Atlanticsbase salary range is determined through an analysis of similar positions in the external labor market. Base pay is just one component of Global Atlantics total compensation package for employees and at times we hire outside the boundaries of the salary range. Other rewards may include annual cash bonuses long-term incentives (equity) generous benefits (including immediate vesting on employee contributions to a 401(k) as well as a company match on your contributions) and sales incentives. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location work experience education licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Compensation for our more senior positions have a larger component of short-term cash bonus and long-term incentives.

The base salary range for this role is

$105000 - $125000 USD
