Job Description
The Chemgineering Group is a global consulting and engineering company with branches in Switzerland Germany Austria Spain Mexico Poland and Serbia. As specialists for efficient processes we design and implement demanding projects for various industries in the fields of pharmaceuticals biotechnology fine chemicals medical technology cosmetics vitamins diagnostics and food.
Your Tasks
- You take over the process engineering in the project team from design to project handover to the customer
- You develop sustainable solutions for complex problems and are the contact person for technical questions
- Collaboration in the preparation of feasibility studies concept basic and detailed engineering for plants and processes in the areas of preparation synthesis/fermentation downstream with purification and packaging (drying filling...)
- Collaboration in the preparation of feasibility studies concept basic and detailed engineering for plants in the areas of CIP/SIP and pure media (generation storage and distribution systems for purified water (WFI) pure steam and air/gases)
- Design of equipment and process systems taking into account the applicable GMP and customer requirements as well as safety-related regulations
- Creation of mass and energy balances block diagrams process and RI flow diagrams (PIDs) requirement specifications specifications and data sheets
- Supporting project activities across all project phases (including qualification / validation)
- Supporting the project manager in tendering procedures including bid comparison
- Guidance/coordination of suppliers from specification to acceptance (FAT)
- Supporting our customers during the installation acceptance and commissioning of their systems
Your Profile
- Completed university or engineering degree (specializing in process engineering chemical engineering biotechnology or a comparable field)
- Professional or project experience (preferably in engineering) in general plant and process engineering ideally in the life science industry is an advantage
- Initial knowledge of the applicable regulations and guidelines in plant construction
- Confident and familiar handling of MS Office (Excel and Word)
- Willingness to travel in the D/A/CH region
- Proficiency in written and spoken German and English
- Independence in the processing of assigned work packages
- Sense of responsibility and ability to work in a team
