:59 PMCBC Sports is seeking a dedicated and ambitious Coordinating Producer to support the development creation and implementation of sponsored broadcast and digital content. This role involves providing our Sales team with relevant programming and tracking information to support revenue objectives for Sports including the Olympics.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Executive Producer of the Content Production Unit working with internal teams to gather programming and production information for content solutions for CBCs Media Solutions (Sales).
Assist the Executive Producer in coordinating content implementation.
Serve as a key point of contact for day-to-day operations between Sports Content and Media Solutions in support of content development.
Attend key programming and production meetings with the Executive Producer and provide Sales with ongoing up-to-date information and resources.
Track and ensure delivery of content obligations to internal and external stakeholders.
Evaluate all facets of production including the performance of program and production personnel and freelance contributors.
Identify develop and maintain contacts relevant to the area of assignment.
Exercise editorial responsibility as delegated by Management.
Assign coordinate and supervise the work of personnel contributing to assigned programs or segments.
Qualifications:
Post-secondary degree/diploma with an emphasis in production coordination or equivalent experience.
Three to five years of experience in broadcasting or a closely related industry directly related to the assignment.
Experience working on an Olympic Games in a similar capacity is an asset.
In-depth knowledge and understanding of feature production.
Experience with media sponsors and agencies is an asset.
Extensive knowledge of computer systems and software.
Demonstrated problem-solving and organizational skills.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Strong negotiation skills for internal departmental dealings.
Strong project management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple ongoing projects with varying deadlines (long to short term).
Ability to exercise independent judgment and initiative.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings overtime and weekends as required (e.g. during the Olympics or other international sporting events).
Ability to participate in a highly creative and collaborative team.
Ability to work for extended periods under pressure while maintaining cooperative relationships with colleagues.
