Summary: ATS is seeking an NDT Level II with UTT MT PT VT (optional) certsfor Rome GA as a Resident Inspector. This is a full time position working guaranteed 40 hours per week with potential weekly overtime as requested by client. Very little travel. No per diem and no lodging. Relo assistance/incentive available. This is an immediate opening.
Responsibilities:
- Perform field inspections of industrial equipment (storage tanks pressure vessels and piping systems).
- Generate written reports utilizing MS Word and MS Excel.
- Manage client relationships.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in NDT ideally in and around the pulp and paper industry.
- NDT Level II certs in UTT MT PT and VT (optional)
- AutoCAD and/or Compress experience preferred.
- High School Diploma proof of NDT formal training and experience hours for each method.

Work Conditions:
- Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.
- Work from heights on scaffolding ladders elevated platforms man-baskets etc.
- Work in confined spaces which will require crawling stooping climbing etc.
- Work in around operating equipment and industrial environments.
- Work with radiation and hazardous materials such as cleaners penetrants film developing chemicals etc.
- Work shifts up to 12 hours/day and 7 days/week and travel for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry 100 pounds.
