Full-Time
Indianapolis IN
Compensation DOE: Up to $38/hr.
Full Benefits 401k Match PTO.
An established organization in the aerospace industry and is currently seeking a Machine Maintenance Technician to maintain their Indianapolis-area facility. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the optimal functioning and longevity of clients machinery by performing regular inspections repairs and preventive maintenance.
The ideal candidate will be motivated detail-oriented and experienced in troubleshooting and repairing CNC machine tools while working cross-functionally to deliver continuous improvement and ensure machine functionality.
What you are doing as a Machine Maintenance Technician:
Conduct scheduled maintenance and perform repairs on a variety of machines and equipment in the shop.
Troubleshoot mechanical problems and apply effective fixes to reduce operational interruptions.
Keep detailed logs of all maintenance work and repairs completed.
Work closely with production staff to ensure machinery is consistently operational and dependable.
Support the setup and installation of new machines and equipment.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and maintain a tidy organized workspace.
Contribute to ongoing improvement efforts aimed at streamlining maintenance procedures.
What you need to become a Machine Maintenance Technician:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Maintenance Technician role within a manufacturing environment
- Experienced troubleshooting and repairing CNC machine tools
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems electrical systems and hydraulic systems.
- Detail oriented and high organization skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Self-Motivated and independent.
- Ability to work hours and overtime as assigned
