Our client a leader in the electrical manufacturing and solar distribution sector is seeking a qualified and experienced Stock Controller & Receiving professional to join their team in George. This role is essential to ensuring the efficient management of stock and the accurate handling of incoming goods.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive inspect and verify incoming stock and materials.
Maintain and update accurate inventory records.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment as needed.
Conduct regular stock takes and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with storage and safety regulations.
Work closely with procurement warehouse and logistics teams.
Generate inventory and stock movement reports.
Assist with the development and implementation of improved stock control procedures.
Requirements:
Minimum Diploma in Supply Chain Management Logistics or related field.
35 years of hands-on experience in stock control and receiving.
Previous experience in the electrical or solar industry is advantageous.
Strong understanding of inventory systems and stock control processes.
Proficient in Microsoft Office particularly Excel.
Excellent organisational communication and problem-solving skills.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
