The Opportunity

The Merchandising Project Manager will be responsible for driving the implementation of strategic initiatives improving processes and cultivating innovative ways of working within the merchandising department. This role requires a forward-thinking leader with exceptional project management skills and a passion for continuous improvement.

Your Impact

  • Develop the strategy for and orchestrate the delivery of medium - large-scale projects managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Provide input and guidance to the practical application of proposed solutions and rollout to ensure effectiveness and understanding.
  • Managing projects from inception to implementation within defined deadlines scope and budgetary requirements to achieve intended project result
  • Creation and execution of project work plans and revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
  • Actively assess organizational readiness and change saturation levels to identify potential risks and raise awareness early on to support proactive risk management and resolution. Identifying the financial impact of initiatives to accurately prioritize
  • Perform business impact assessments and determine the type of change impact to end users skills and behaviors job/tasks technology and organizational culture
  • Managing the organizational change management roadmap and integrating activities into the overall project plan
  • Understanding complex technical requirements business requirements and effectively influencing stakeholders to ensure projects are fully resourced

What You Bring

  • A minimum of a Bachelors degree is required advanced training/degree in a related field desired.
  • A minimum of 5 years of total business experience ideally in project management process improvement change management or similar fields.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) and/ or Six Sigma Certification preferred
  • Experience leading projects or initiatives involving teams or multiple stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience effectively using project-management tools and software
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite Visio Confluence and Jira preferred
  • Demonstrated experience scoping and leading complex projects in a business environment and effectively managing deadlines
  • Proven experience developing project plans creating project roadmaps and managing project schedules
  • A high degree of business acumen and an ability to effectively communicate with senior leaders
  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills in addition to a high degree of attention to detail
  • An ability to be diplomatic and influence stakeholders to meet project objectives
