THE HOURS FOR THIS POSITION ARE MONDAY-FRIDAY FROM 3:00PM-6:00PM!!

Learning Grove is a leading nonprofit early childhood education provider in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.

Our School Age Services program is a network of 30 programs that provide extended kindergarten before- and after-school care for elementary-age children. Overview of the School Age Services lead/director role:
We need you to lead day to day operations of school age programming.

Heres a little more about what youll do:

• Create a safe and healthy learning environment for children with appropriate arrangement of materials space and supplies.
• Supervise children at all times within sight and sound and adhere to daily schedule and transition times. Encourage childrens learning through discovery curiosity creativity and a healthy self-concept.
• Provide timely and effective communication to leadership school partners families and enrichment providers.
• Complete paperwork assessments and other reports as needed.
• Additional site-specific duties as needed such as lesson plans or monthly quality compliance activities

This might be a given but our teachers and instructional assistants should have a positive nature and be flexible and know that we work best as a team.

You must be at least 18 years old.

Some post-secondary education and experience with working with children preferred

While performing the duties of this job the school age services instructional assistant is regularly required to sit stand walk bend and lift objects of at least 25 pounds; walk up and down steps; and stand on feet and work with children 90% of the time.
