EMBS Engineering Ltd is working in partnership with a leading precision engineering manufacturer located in Nottingham that is currently in the market for a CNC Turner to join their company on a Permanent basis.

This market-leading company is a long-established and highly respected name within the precision engineering sector specialising in the manufacture of high-quality components for the Aerospace Energy/Oil & Gas and Industrial industries.

Key Benefits on offer:

• Stability / Longevity: Permanent
• Hourly Rate: Circa 15 - 18 per hour
• Hours:
  • Double days - 6-2 Mon to Thur 6-1 Fri / 2-10 Mon to Thur 1-8 on Fri (37.5 hour week)
• Benefits:
  • Shift allowance on Afternoons - 10% uplift

Your responsibilities include:

• Setting operating and editing CNC Turning machines using Fanuc and Mazatrol controls
• Machining small to medium-sized complex components using materials such as plastic
• Working from Engineering drawings
• Working on multiple setups per day to produce components for various precision engineering sectors

Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a CNC Turner
• Confident working with Fanuc or Mazatrol controls
• Experience setting operatinga nd editing multi-axis CNC machines
• Previous machined complex parts for precision industries including Aerospace Motorsport Nuclear MOD Oil & Gas etc
• Previous experience machining plastics is desirable or previously machined metals
• Experience with machining to tight tolerances
