JOB TITLE JOB DETAILS:
- Starting Hourly Pay: $57.20
- Some on call required
- Superior medical coverage starts the 1st of the month following start date

- OPERS retirement - The employee contributes 10% of their salary towards their retirement. The employer contributes an amount equal to 14% of the employees salary.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Creates & implements resident care plans & performs advanced nursing duties within boundaries of licensure (e.g. monitors progress of residents & intervenes in the course of acute critical or chronic illness; performs routine physical examinations of residents to determine control or status of acute critical or chronic conditions & diagnose new conditions; evaluates acute & chronically ill residents & prescribes medications or administers treatment of acute & chronically ill residents; completes discharge planning/follow-up care for residents with chronic care &/or medical issues; evaluates necessity for referral consultations inside & outside the facility setting; orders interprets and reviews results of laboratory x-ray & other diagnostic testing to assess residents clinical problems and health care needs; inoculates or vaccinates residents against communicable diseases.
- Maintains required medical records (e.g. documents medical information gathered during resident interviews according to long-term care (VA ODH CMS) guidelines policies protocols & agency-professionally accredited standards; documents assessments & diagnostic impressions including treatment plans & follow-up parameters); cooperates with medical director for medical quality oversight.Provides education & training curriculum for Hospital Aides LPNs & RNs in accordance with Ohio Department of Health (ODH) & U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) guidelines rules & requirements.
- Provides clinical direction to registered nurses licensed practical nurses hospital aides & other caregivers. Collaborates with interdisciplinary health care team in making diagnosis of acute and chronic conditions. Serves as a resource for residents and families utilizing areas of clinical expertise and provides advice regarding health maintenance and to promote continuity of care across the resident continuum of care.
- Participates in professional & agency committees & meetings (e.g. attends professional facility-specific meetings as requested by facility medical director; participates in continuous quality improvement measures & attends monthly meetings; attends quarterly medical meetings); attends in-services &/or other continued education offerings relative to growth & development as a nurse practitioner.
