Job Description

Do you want to make a difference while benefiting from a schedule that offers unique flexibility

Join our dedicated team providing vital person centredsupport to people experiencing homelessness in a Level 1 accommodation setting in Bristol. As a Night Worker youll offer assistance conversation and continuity of care throughout the night ensuring a safe and supportive environment for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with residents offering support and a listening ear.
  • Maintain safety protocols respond to emergencies and conduct hourly building checks and monitoring issues likenoise levels.
  • Complete administrative tasks incident reports and handover notes.
  • Work independently following established procedures.
  • You will attend team meetings and training so you can continue to develop skills and knowledge to ensure confidence in your role.

Typical schedule: A flexible night shift rota including weekends and bank holidays. Rolling 4-week rota 9 PM 7:30 AM with two weekends off per month.

About you

These roles will suit people with good communication skills with the ability to respond and interact effectively if you have the ability to empathise with others and have the willingness to learn how to support people to transform their lives we encourage you to apply. You should be able to demonstrate:

  • An understanding of the issues that affect people experiencing homelessness.
  • Some experience of dealing directly with the public clients or customers in a busy service environment.
  • Ability to stay alert calm and use own initiative in emergencies.
  • Familiarity with administrative procedures and record-keeping.
