Job Title: Desk Side Support
Location: Orange County
Schedule: Full Time 40 Hours Weekly (18 months Contract Position)
Travel: No
Hoag Deskside Support Job Responsibilities:
Provides IT services to users at the customer site for hardware software and related
computer systems via in-person email chat or phone.
Provides Install/Move/Add/Change for in-house and remote users
Responds to service issues and requests promptly.
Configures installs maintains troubleshoots and supports computer workstations
including connected and mobile devices.
Provide technical assistance during installation/conversion as requested for in-house and
remote users.
Upgrade or install new equipment and be ready to operate according to schedule.
Create and document a service request ticket for computer systems repairs upgrades new
installations and solutions provided.
Prioritized IT Service requests and escalation when needed
Works with hardware and software vendors to find a solution to the issue with the users
computer system
Maintain IT inventory.
Terminate dispose of or relocate assets as needed.
Support may be required after regular business hours in emergencies either in person or
remotely.
Tier 1 support for Network/LAN/Telephony
Tier 2 and tier 3 deskside service at the site and all work needs to meet the established
SLAs requirements.
Work with business needs projects under the direction of IT management.
Requirements:
Ability to troubleshoot PC problems & fundamental network issues.
Proficient Microsoft product knowledge includes OS (AD & GPO) Office suite.
Experience supporting enterprise applications in large environments (500 users).
3 years of deskside support experience preferred
Good communication and interpersonal skills are required to work with customers
A Certification preferred
US Citizen or Permanent Resident required
Onsite Support not remote
