Essential Functions
Maintain Interior and Exterior components of the Buildings. Construction of cabinets furniture walls and countertops. Install glass floors cabinets countertops doors bulletin boards and similar items. Repair and install doors door locks maintain key inventory to include cutting keys repairing and installing door cylinders also the ability to pick locks as necessary. Repair walls tables chairs and cabinets welding repairs if needed. Assist in Materials Management Determine materials needed for specific projects calculate costs order materials and keep records of the project materials and costs. Keep track of inventory order and receive carpentry tools as needed and be able to use all tools pertaining to general carpentry along with performing routine maintenance of these tools. Promote a Culture of Belonging Support and promote an environment of belonging where all students faculty members and college employees feel welcomed valued and empowered to contribute. Foster a community where each individual and their varied perspectives enrich the educational experience and create a safe and respectful environment. Minimum Qualifications
High school graduate or GED with vocational training or on-the-job training. Minimum of five (5) years work experience in the Carpentry field OR a minimum of three (3) years of related work experience in combination with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Building Construction or a directly affiliated field of study. Current and valid Drivers License. Ability to qualify for auto insurance coverage.
