WHAT YOULL DO:
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Sales and Production to create designs that meet customer goals around the scope budget timeline and feel of the home.
- Deeply understand every aspect of a project to source materials communicate with contractors and assist with change orders should they arise.
- Communicate with real estate agents contractors and homeowners during the project to address concerns or provide updates.
- Address any problems that may arise during the project (i.e. delivery delays weather challenges resource constraints) and quickly develop solutions that ensure the project remains on schedule.
- Build and manage relationships with industry vendors to help us pass along materials savings to our contractors and homeowners.
- Provide contractors with a detailed list of materials appliances and finishes to ensure their work matches like for like with the rendering.
WHO YOU ARE:
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in either Interior Design or Architecture (not required but preferred)
- 3 years in the design industry with a concentration in residential projects
- Worked on teams with designers architects trades and vendors
- Knowledge of design process principles construction methods and creating notated drawings
- Strong skills working with SketchUp
- Self-disciplined and dependable able to meet deadlines with little supervision
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to provide outstanding product application and design solutions for projects
Compensation for this role is between $70k - $100k based on experience.
COMPENSATION RANGE AND CONSIDERATIONS:
The range listed is what we reasonably expect to pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and it may be modified in the future. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate including but not limited to skill set experience and equity package.
