As a member of the Internal Audit department youll share our passion for adding value to our people customers communities and stakeholders. Youll be joining a diverse and growing team that provides tangible commercial impact across our entire business.
Youll be participating in Audits to assess the control environment and regulatory adherence related to Finance and Market businesses. Youll provide robust independent assurance and challenge on the effectiveness of processes and controls across the bank and having exposure to senior stakeholders across our global organisation.

The difference youll make:
Participating in assurance activities related to Finance & Markets such as Capital Liquidity Markets Structural Risk and Finance
Ensuring that all work undertaken meets agreed timescales and complies with the methodology quality requirements
Taking part in different aspects of the audit from planning identification of key risks and testing during fieldwork stage
Managing relationships with key stakeholders across the business and collaborating with other teams as required
Supporting the delivery of the business plan for the specialist Audit area
Developing effective working relationships with others in the Audit team
What youll bring:
These are the essential requirements you need to be successful in this role:
Previous experience a relevant role within Internal Controls Internal or External Audit Capital Liquidity Structural Risk or Accounting
In-depth knowledge of audit principles and their application in core processes
Understanding of the financial services industry products and services and regulatory framework in which the bank operates
Exposure to the use of advanced Excel and skills at organising and maintaining large sets of data
It would also be nice for you to have:
Degree or equivalent in Accounting Finance Economics Mathematics
Professional certification - ACA ACCA CPA CIA or equivalent
Experience with Data Analytics (Python SQL) and audit software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
What else you need to know:
This permanent role is based in Milton Keynes.

To support this we offer site-based contracts with a hybrid working pattern and our expected level of attendance in an office is at least 12 days per month (pro-rata for part-time roles).
