Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services.We are currently seeking aFull-timeAssistant Director of Nursingto support our Mental Health team in Westover Maryland at Eastern Correctional Institution.
The ADON - MH provides clinical educational and professional supervision for nursing and support staff. This person works under the direction of the Director of Nursing and collaborates with the mental health/medical leadership and other members of the multidisciplinary team in the correctional environment to improve healthcare of incarcerated offenders.
Qualifications
- Must hold valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland; BSN preferred
- Progressive experience in nursing care with a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience preferred
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
- Experience working in a correctional or behavioral health environment preferred
- Ability to obtain a security clearance to include drug screen and criminal background check
