Professional Service Industries Inc. (Intertek-PSI) is a leading US based provider of construction assurance testing and inspection in civil and commercial construction. Our broad service offering includes construction materials testing geotechnical services environmental engineering industrial hygiene and specialty testing.
What are we looking for
The Environmental Technicianwill support the Environmental business by conducting Environmental Consulting work in the Ohio Valley Region. This includes performing field sampling of building contaminants indoor air quality and other components of green buildings for certification. This position will require some off-shift and overtime work as well as out-of-town travel.
Shift/Schedule: Monday Friday 40 hours per week can vary depending on workload

What youll do:
- Asbestos/Lead Based Paint/Mold Inspections
- Asbestos/Lead Based Paint/Mold Abatement Monitoring
- Asbestos/Lead Based Paint/Mold Clearance Sampling
- Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs)
- Phase II/Subsurface Investigations

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Strong work ethic
- Experience with Microsoft office products
- Must be able to work off shifts with some overnight travel
- Effective communication
- Valid Drivers License and reliable driving recordrequired
Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:
- Associates degree or 2-year technical degree or 4-year undergraduate degree
- Experience in environmental consulting services
- Asbestos and industrial hygiene consulting experience and Ohio Asbestos Hazard Evaluation Specialist license
