Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and hands on FpML XSD Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in modifying and creating XML Schema Definitions (XSDs) for FpML (Financial products Markup Language) which is essential for managing and processing financial products data. Experience or exposure to the capital markets domain will be considered a ResponsibilitiesModify and create XSDs in FpML to accommodate changing requirements and new financial with business and technology teams to ensure XSDs meet functional requirements and data the integrity and compliance of FpML data by applying best practices in XML schema and test the XSDs to ensure proper functionality and integration with other financial technical support and troubleshooting for issues related to FpML and update existing XSDs as per regulatory changes business needs or product schema changes and maintain clear version control of XSD effectively with cross functional teams and stakeholders regarding schema development and applicable apply domain knowledge in capital markets to enhance the quality of schema development and solution and QualificationsStrong hands on experience with FpML and XSD (XML Schema Definitions) creation and understanding of XML XPath and related with XML Schema and related in validating XML data and schema based transformations Exposure to the capital markets domain is highly desirable ( derivatives equities fixed income).Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team with tools for XML validation testing and understanding of financial products and processes in the context of capital to document technical processes and workflows communication skills and the ability to engage with both technical and nontechnical and ExperienceBachelor degree in Computer Science Information Technology Finance or a related of years of experience working with FpML and experience in the capital markets domain is a plus.
