Job Description

BRSU is seeking energetic enthusiastic and responsible Extracurricular Aides to support students in Grades K-8 attending our 2025 Extended School Year (ESY) program(s) this summer! Under the direction of the Program Lead the Extracurricular Aide assists in supervising students supporting instructors and facilitating regularly scheduled extracurricular activities during summer programs for students with disabilities. Organized activities may include (but are not limited to) school-based tasks small group social activities extra support during community outings facilitating participation in recreational activities. This position plays a key role in fostering a safe engaging and inclusive environment where students can explore learning beyond the classroom through recreational creative and academic activities utilizing basic student management skills and motivation techniques when supporting assigned student(s) in a variety of settings. Ideal candidates are team-oriented dependable and enjoy working with students in a fast-paced dynamic Extracurricular Aide will work five (5) hours per day on Tuesdays Wednesdays and Thursdays from July 7 2025 to July 31 complete job description can be found is a Professional Learning Community which demonstrates best practice in teaching and is committed to high levels of achievement and success for all students.
