Are you a qualified and experienced Veterinary Nurse looking for casual shifts across the Brisbane region
We are currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified and experienced Vet Nurses seeking casual hours to suit their lifestyle study or family needs.
As part oftheVetPartnersLocum Vet Nursenetworkthis true casual role will receive notification ofshifts available acrossthe Brisbanecity and widerregion where youcan chooseshifts based on your availabilityand preferences.
How Do I Become ALocum Vet Nurse
Demonstrate yourexperience in Surgical andHospital Care
PossessexcellentCustomerCare TriageandReception skills
Have experience using EzyVet or RxWorks - or are a quick systems learner
Happy to accept shifts from 3hrs to10hrs at short notice or in advance
Availableon Weekdays and/or Saturdays
Payrate based on experience note some shifts may attract a higher payrate or travel allowance depending on coverage need.
Our Ideal Candidates
Must holdCert IV Veterinary Nurse or Veterinary Technicianqualification
Confidentnursingskillswith high standards of clinical care
Excellent communicatorwith greatinitiative
Genuine care for the industry and our patients
Acollaborative style with team focused work ethic
We acknowledge that some applicants may have anotherprimary workplace and only wish to pick up shiftswhen available.
To be considered you must hold Australian work rights with a minimum of two years in-clinic experience post-graduation. We also require applicants to supply two industry references to become part of our Locum Vet Nurse network.
