AS OCU continues on a journey of substantial growth we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Site Engineer to come and join us based in Slough.
The Site Engineer will play a crucial role in the product development lifecycle from concept design to production. This role requires strong technical skills creative problem-solving abilities and a passion for innovation. The Design Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and develop products that meet customer requirements and exceed industry standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product managers stakeholders and customers to understand project requirements goals and constraints.
- Generate innovative design concepts and solutions that address user needs technical specifications and market trends.
- Create sketches renderings and 3D models to visualize and communicate design concepts effectively.
- Conduct engineering analysis and simulation studies to evaluate the performance reliability and manufacturability of design concepts.
- Use CAD software and simulation tools to optimize designs for strength weight cost and other key factors.
- Iterate on designs based on analysis results and stakeholder feedback to achieve optimal outcomes.

Skills & Experience:
- Experience within a similar role
- Strong understanding of Engineering Principles
- Excellent Communication skills
- Proficient in CAD software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
