Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join a high-performing surgical services team in Ohio. The RN will provide comprehensive perioperative care for patients of all ages-from neonates to older adults-throughout the surgical experience. This position requires critical thinking collaborative teamwork and strong leadership in maintaining safe and efficient operating room practices.
Key Responsibilities:-
Deliver both direct and indirect nursing care in the perioperative setting using the nursing process of assessment planning implementation and evaluation

Coordinate care with the surgeon anesthesiologist and surgical team to ensure safe seamless procedures

Supervise and direct OR Technicians and other support staff while maintaining professional nursing standards

Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and patients to promote safety and understanding

Ensure compliance with hospital policies regulatory requirements and infection control protocols

Actively participate in Performance Improvement initiatives in-services and unit meetings

Promote efficient patient flow and assist in the organization of the OR for continuous high-quality care

Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to peers and newer staff

Active RN license in the state of Ohio (Required)

BLS certification (AHA Required)

ACLS and PALS certification (Required)

Minimum 1 year of recent operating room nursing experience (Preferred)

Excellent interpersonal organizational and critical thinking skills
-
Experience working with neonates pediatrics adolescents adults and geriatric populations in surgical settings is a plus

CNOR certification (Preferred)
