Job Title: General Anesthesiologist Multi-Site Coverage Trauma Level II

Position Overview
A leading health network in South Florida is seeking a Board-Certified or recently Board-Eligible Anesthesiologist to join a collaborative high-volume care team covering multiple surgical sites. This role requires flexibility strong clinical acumen and a willingness to provide care across day night and weekend shifts as part of a dynamic anesthesia group.
This opportunity is only open to experienced providers who live outside of Florida and meet specific credentialing requirements. The group follows a care team model with shared case responsibility between MDs and CRNAs.
Position Details
- Must be available for a full schedule including days nights weekends and call
- Most shifts are 10 or 12 hours; must provide at least 30 hours of day coverage/week off-hours availability
- No new graduates will be considered - candidates must have at least 2 years of post-training experience
- Will involve both independent case management and supervision of CRNAs
- In-house call coverage required including trauma response
- Multiple facility credentialing required across 4 primary campuses
Case Types & Facility Profile
- Surgical case mix includes:
- General Surgery Ortho Vascular Urology GI ENT Neuro Pain Plastics Thoracic Eyes EP OMFS
- No cardiac OB or pediatric cases
- Level II trauma coverage
- Average monthly case volume: 680
- Must be comfortable with regional anesthesia and ultrasound-guided blocks
- Facilities are covered daily by 3 4 anesthesiologists and 9 CRNAs with overlapping shifts across several procedural sites
Requirements MUST MEET ALL TO BE SUBMITTED
- Board Certification in Anesthesiology required
- Board Eligible only accepted if within 5 years of training
- If 3 5 years post-grad without certification written explanation required
- Florida Medical License and DEA must be in hand prior to name submission
- Life Support Certifications required: BLS ACLS and PALS (American Heart Association only)
- Must currently live outside of Florida
- Out-of-state drivers license required at time of submission
- Clean malpractice and background history
- Must be willing to cross-credential at all assigned locations
- Trauma experience and regional skills (ultrasound-guided blocks) required

- Rush start possible: Temporary privileges may be approved within 2 3 weeks for clean files

Additional Notes
- Call rotation includes in-house overnight call (7p 7a)
- Weekday backup coverage handled via home call
- Daytime providers are off post-call following 12-hour overnight coverage
