Job Description

Job Title: RMO - BAMS/BHMS with ICU Exposure
Location: Sinnar Maharashtra
Overview
The RMO (Resident Medical Officer) plays a vital role in the healthcare team primarily focusing on the treatment and management of patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This position is particularly suited for practitioners with an educational background in BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) or BHMS (Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery) who have substantial exposure to critical care settings. The RMO will be responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care overseeing treatment protocols and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes. In Sinnar Maharashtra this role is essential not only for effective patient management in the ICU but also for the integration of holistic and specialized treatments. The RMO must demonstrate clinical expertise commitment to patient safety and a cooperative spirit all while adapting to the fast-paced and dynamic environment of the ICU.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of critically ill patients.
  • Manage and monitor patients in the ICU setting.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as per protocols.
  • Collaborate with physicians and specialists for comprehensive patient management.
  • Serve as a primary point of communication for patient families.
  • Keep detailed records of patient information and progress.
  • Respond to medical emergencies with prompt action.
  • Participate in daily rounds and interdisciplinary meetings.
  • Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatment plans.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and infection control measures.
  • Participate in continuous learning and professional development.
  • Assist in the training and mentoring of junior staff and interns.
  • Facilitate the smooth operation of the ICU workflow.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the department.
Required Qualifications
  • Degree in BAMS or BHMS from a recognized institution.
  • Valid medical registration in Maharashtra.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in critical care or ICU settings.
  • Strong knowledge of emergency procedures and protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficient in clinical assessment and decision-making.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Understanding of holistic treatments and patient-centered care.
  • Experience with electronic health records systems.
  • Commitment to ongoing clinical education and professional development.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights and weekends.
  • Compassionate approach toward patient care and family support.
  • Proficiency in local languages would be an advantage.
