Job Description


The Project Management Consultant is responsible for capturing all investment activities including leads opportunities and projects and ensuring the successful delivery of approved investment initiatives from initiation through to deal closure and integration into the portfolio.

Throughout the investment lifecycle the consultant plays a key role in supporting project development detailing timelines and providing programlevel progress reporting. The role includes overseeing the establishment and implementation of PMO guidelines and standards across all sectors covering areas such as project management processes quality assurance risk and issue management change request handling and benefits realization.

The consultant will work closely with the Chief Project Management Officer and senior project managers to ensure effective alignment and delivery of initiatives across all sectors. In addition the role contributes to organizational transformation through coordination of change management communication efforts and learning and development support.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of investment activities from opportunity identification to project delivery and portfolio integration.

  • Support planning timeline definition and programlevel reporting on progress across multiple efforts.

  • Define and implement PMO standards across all sectors including project governance risk and issue management change control and quality assurance.

  • Oversee the development and maintenance of standardized PMO policies aligned with recognized project management frameworks.

  • Work in coordination with strategy and transformation offices to ensure initiatives are aligned with the organizations strategic objectives.

  • Analyze critical business data to identify inefficiencies trends and prevent projectrelated issues.

  • Develop contingency plans roadmaps and periodic strategic recommendations.

  • Participate in the ongoing improvement of governance models and PMO methodologies.



Requirements

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 12 years of experience in project management including leading crossfunctional initiatives and working within PMO environments.


Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in Economics Engineering Information Technology Management or an equivalent field.

  • Master s degree is preferred.

  • Professional certification is preferred (e.g. PMP PRINCE2 APM MSP or equivalent).


Competency Requirements:

  • Proven ability to align strategic goals with sectorlevel delivery and benefits realization.

  • Demonstrated experience in managing interdependent projects and aligning crosssector efforts.

  • Strong skills in conflict resolution and problemsolving.

  • Indepth knowledge of PMO environments and best practices in project governance.

  • Handson experience maintaining and monitoring project management processes.

  • Expertise in risk management issue resolution change management and quality assurance.

  • Experience implementing and using enterprise portfolio management (EPM) tools.

  • Advanced proficiency in tracking project status and conducting financial analysis using Excel.

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word Outlook PowerPoint).

  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a history of achieving impactful results in PMO settings.

  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.

  • Fluency in both Arabic and English (spoken and written).
