A leading and successful specialist Top 30 chartered accountancy practice based in Chatham; Kent is looking to appoint a Personal Tax Assistant Manager. This is a key position within a growing and wellregarded professional services firm offering a mixed role across both compliance and advisory work. Our client is a forwardthinking accountancy and tax advisory firm and they have an excellent reputation across Kent and the Southeast. The practice supports a wide range of clients including directors of OMBs and SMEs HNWIs and UK and international private clients. Known for providing a highquality personal tax compliance service the firm also has a strong focus on delivering bespoke tax planning and advisory solutions.
As a Personal Tax Assistant Manager you will:
- Take ownership of a varied portfolio of personal tax clients.
- Oversee and deliver annual selfassessment tax compliance work ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Support with the delivery of a range of tax advisory projects including (but not limited to):
- Capital Gains Tax (CGT)
- Inheritance Tax (IHT)
- Trust and estate planning
- Remuneration planning and share schemes
- Liaise directly with clients building longterm relationships and becoming a trusted advisor.
- Support junior team members and play a role in the development and review of their work
Requirements
Personal Tax Assistant Manager Chatham
- Ideally CTA and/or ATT/ACA/ACCA qualified you will have developed a personal tax career within an accountancy practice or specialist tax firm. Your experience will have been developed in any mix of Top Tier Top Ten 50 larger regional independent firm background or specialist tax firm and your background will most likely have focused down the personal tax route with a strong compliance and /or tax planning skill set.

You will be ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 3 years experience within practice. You will have worked as Semi Senior or Senior accountant within practice Experience of Iris and cloud software such as Xero/ Quickbooks would be advantageous
