Job Description
Job Role: MultiSite Security Officer
Working Hours: Zero Hour Contract Full time hours are guaranteed for upto the next 3 months and during periods vessels are on site
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off 12 hour shifts Days (6am6pm) & Nights (6pm6am
Pay: 12.21 per hour
Location: Cammell Laird Birkenhead & Seaforth
Reporting to: Contract Manager
Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Anchor Group Services for an experienced Security Officer to join our established security team in the Birkenhead/Liverpool area as a MultiSite Security Officer.
You will be required to provide a high level of customer service to visitors to the site complete patrols and remain vigilant at all times. You will need to be flexible and ready to provide cover for various sites as needed having the initiative to adapt to new sites and their individual requirements.
The successful candidate must have a valid SIA Licence as a minimum. A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable.
PLEASE NOTE: AS A MULTISITE SECURITY OFFICER YOU WILL BE ON A ZEROHOUR CONTRACT however during busy periods when vessels are on site there will be guaranteed hours available.
Duties include:
- Protecting the client s property people and/or assets by providing security services in direct accordance with the sites published Assignment Instructions (AI s) and sitespecific procedures
- Preventing losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing offenders of policy and procedures
- Preventing and escalating incidents in a timely accurate and appropriate manner to the Control Room/Shift Manager/Operations Manager/Emergency Services as appropriate for serious incidents
- Completing reports by recording observations information occurrences and surveillance activities
- Maintaining organisations stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements
- Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Acting as a first line support to customers and visitors to site providing a professional and friendly service
- Understanding the needs of our customer respond accordingly to customer queries and requests and take appropriate action
- Maintaining professional conduct at all times
Requirements
- Full 5year employment checkable history
- Valid frontline SIA licence DS or SG
- Customer Service experience and confidence to handle conflict in a correct manner
- Flexible to meet the job requirements
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Smart appearance and be wellgroomed
- Reliable and punctual
- High level of enthusiasm and passion
- Ability to work in a fastmoving environment
