Job Description
The Production Technician is an essential member of the Nanak s food processing operation and is responsible for operating monitoring and adjusting dairy processing equipment with a focus on instrumentation automation and HMI systems. Ensures efficient and safe food processing in compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor equipment using HMI systems and automated controls.
- Perform operational adjustments and troubleshoot equipment and instrumentation issues.
- Calibrate and verify instrumentation (sensors valves temperature/flow devices).
- Monitor process parameters and product quality; make realtime adjustments.
- Ensure safety systems and interlocks are functioning correctly.
- Maintain accurate production and troubleshooting logs.
- Follow GMP food safety and OSHA standards.
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work area.
Requirements
- Fluent in HMI systems and automated control interfaces.
- Strong understanding of instrumentation and process automation.
- Technical diploma or equivalent experience in industrial automation or food processing.
- 1 2 years of experience in food manufacturing or similar environment.
- Excellent troubleshooting and decisionmaking skills.
- Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and working in highpaced hot/cold environments.
- Possesses an HTST license or is able to obtain one as required.
