This is a remote position.
Schedule:
- MondayFriday 1:00 PM 5:00 PM (20 hours/week)
- Client Timezone: UK (Birmingham)

Job Description:
We re seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing team in a parttime capacity. This role offers the perfect blend of analytical challenge and flexible scheduling allowing you to leverage your expertise while maintaining worklife balance. You ll work with a modern tech stack including Xero QuickBooks and specialized accounting software providing crucial financial insights and compliance support to a diverse portfolio of clients. This position offers the unique opportunity to shape financial strategies for growing businesses while working in a dynamic remotefirst environment with structured afternoon hours.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and analyze financial accounts for a diverse portfolio of UKbased businesses
- Prepare and review comprehensive financial models cash flows and business plans
- Process and analyze complex financial data using multiple accounting platforms (Xero QuickBooks VT)
- Handle UK tax compliance and filing requirements using specialized software
- Conduct detailed financial analysis and provide strategic insights
- Prepare annual returns and ensure compliance with Companies House and HMRC regulations
- Maintain accurate financial records using cloudbased systems
- Collaborate remotely with the core team while working independently
Requirements
- Qualified accountant with demonstrated experience in UK accounting
- Proven expertise in financial analysis and reporting
- Strong proficiency in modern accounting software including Xero and QuickBooks
- Indepth knowledge of UK accounting standards and tax regulations
- Experience with financial modeling and business planning
- Excellence in remote communication and digital collaboration
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards
- Comfortable with cloudbased tools and digital workflows
- Experience in managing multiple client accounts simultaneously
