Job Description

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  1. Will be required to complete training   
  2. Ability to identify waste streams within the areas assigned
  3. Distinguish between hazardous and nonhazardous waste and transport safely through the facility utilizing building and grounds as needed
  4. Read understand and follow Waste labeling manual
  5. Properly load waste for shipment and complete the appropriate accompanying paperwork
  6. Complete tracking of waste through various processes (nonconforming parts routing scrap tickets etc)

 

  1. Provide coverage for other positions in the department while operators are on break
  2. Maintain housekeeping on 3rd floor as outlined in SOPs
  3. Ability to operate a forklift
  4. May be required to change shifts or work overtime.
  5. May on occasion be required to perform duties other than those specified in this description.

 

 

 


Qualifications :

  1. High School Diploma.
  2. 1 year manufacturing experience preferred.
  3. Forklift Experience 


Additional Information :

  • Report to the assigned Supervisor
  • Indirectly responsible for results in assigned area not a direct people leader
  • Must wear steeltoe shoes safety glasses and earplugs when in manufacturing area.
  • Ability to work in a noisy environment and be exposed to low levels of carbon black dust which maybe dirty.
  • Be aware of all safety regulations and the visibility of forklifts on the work floor.
  • Standing for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds on a regular basis
