Job Description
THE POSITION
Our Hoosier Racing Tire headquarters in Plymouth IN is seeking an MultiCraft Technician to join our growing Maintenance Team. This role is responsible for systematic troubleshooting efficient diagnosis and sustainable quality repairs to ensure the safe and reliable operation of production equipment.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Diagnose and repair AC/DC control systems motors drives PLCs hydraulic pneumatic and mechanical equipment using tools such as digital multimeters schematics and diagnostic software
- Conduct electrical and mechanical fabrication including welding sheet metal work and maintenance of piping transformers and lighting systems
- Accurately document repair work and time using SAP/PUMA and provide detailed fault and repair feedback for structured analysis
- Collaborate effectively with maintenance engineering and production teams to support efficient continuous plant operations
- Maintain compliance with safety procedures (LOTO PPE) keep a clean and organized workspace and be available for overtime and vacancy coverage
Qualifications :
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
- Associate degree or certificate in an electrical field preferred or 3 years of experience in electrical work (technical proficiency test required if no degree held)
- Handson experience with PLCs analog I/O AC/DC drives servo systems and strong computer literacy (Microsoft Windows applications)
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. with no visa sponsorship or relocation available for this role
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and willingness to travel within the U.S. as needed
- Strong diagnostic troubleshooting and communication skills with the ability to work safely and professionally in a fastpaced production environment
