Job Description

Brightspeed is looking for Local Sales Representatives Door to Door to join our team!  

At Brightspeed we connect people and communities by offering bestinclass fiber internet and telecommunication services. As a Local Sales Representative youll be responsible for prospecting and closing sales through facetoface interactions for potential customers in Springfield. You will also manage customer accounts and assist with basic internet installations ensuring a seamless experience. Training on technical processes will be provided.

As a Local Sales Representative Door to Door your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Customer Acquisition:  Proactively engage with prospective residential customers through door to door efforts to close sales. Leads will be provided to support these efforts.
  • Sales Presentations: Conduct needsbased consultative sales presentations recommending Brightspeed products (highspeed fiber internet landline phone etc.) that fit customer needs.
  • Sales Process Management: Complete all required documentation (sales orders dispositions etc.) accurately and in compliance with Brightspeeds quality guidelines.
  • Goal Achievement: Consistently achieve or exceed monthly sales quotas for highspeed fiber internet and other Brightspeed services. This includes meeting daily field KPIs such as door knocks contacts presentations time in the field etc.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay informed on Brightspeed product offerings industry trends and competitor activities to provide relevant insights to your manager.
  • Technical Support: Perform initial product installations including setting up internet routers and connecting devices to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Collaboration: Actively participate in sales meetings training sessions and ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and contribute to team success.
  • Adaptability: Be prepared to work in all weather conditions. Work will include flex hours including evenings and weekends to maximize opportunities for customer interaction. Must be physically capable of walking for long periods of time as part of the doortodoor sales process. 

Qualifications :

WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
  • 2 years of direct sales experience preferably in doortodoor or field sales
  • A valid drivers license proof of insurance and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a passion for facetoface selling and delivering excellent customer service
  • Ability to perform basic technical setups (internet router installation and device connection) with training provided
  • Strong personal drive and selfmotivation with a tenacious attitude towards achieving sales targets
  • Proficiency in using digital tools and devices (smartphones tablets routers WiFi extenders etc.)
  • Ability to travel frequently and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to manage time effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

BONUS POINTS FOR:

  • Experience in telecommunications internet services or a related field
  • Familiarity with networking basics including router setup and WiFi troubleshooting
  • Proven track record of sales success in a quotadriven environment

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • In this role most of the time will be spent working with the sales team in the field with exposure to various weather conditions during field visits. Minimal time will be spent in an office environment.
