Job Description
What youre responsible for:
- Operatinga Class B commercial vehicleto transport metal materials to and from designated locations ensuring compliance with traffic laws and company policies
- Safely loading and unloading metal materials onto the truck using appropriate equipmentand secure the load to prevent shifting or damage during transit
- Performing manual tarping if necessary
- Performing routine pretrip and posttrip inspections of the truck ensuring that it is in good working condition
- Completingaccurate and thorough records of deliveriesand any other required documentation
Qualifications :
To join our team:
- You have a valid CDL B drivers license with a clean MVR and Medical
- You have experience driving 18 speedmanual transmission (required)
- You have a minimum of 2years of experience as an CDLB Driver
- You are physically fit and able to hand tarp 40 and 53yd bins
- You can perform loading and unloading activities as required
- You are familiar with metal recycling processes and materials (an asset)
