Job Description

Eatons ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Sr Controls Tech 2nd Shift.

The hourly rate for this position is $39.30 per hour.

What youll do:
Job Summary
This position will work with the Controls Engineers to execute and manage projects of small to medium scope throughout the facility. The Senior Controls Technician will also provide support to the Control Techs and Production as required.

Job Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with safety and housekeeping & company policies and procedures.
Support Engineering projects to install maintain test and troubleshoot complex automated equipment
Diagnose and resolve complex electrical/controls problems including nonroutine issues
Use Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) including basic and ladder logic to read/write basic wiring diagrams schematics and blueprints to diagnosis problems
The position will work independently to meet project requirements with limited supervision
Help educate lowerlevel technicians through on the job training as needed
Fabricate and Install control and power panels
Reviews diagrams drawings and specifications for design construction and/or alteration of instrument and control systems
Evaluates and recommends improvements for current equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair of low voltage electrical systems (600VAC and below)
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Qualifications:
Education level required
TwoYear Associate or Bachelors degree in related field of study preferred.

Years and area of experience required
10 years of electrical and controls system fabrication assembly and installation or an equivalent combination of education training and experience which provides the required knowledge skills and abilities required.

Technical knowledge
SAP or similar maintenance/work management software experience preferred.
Robotics Education Experience preferred.

Skills:
Must be able to prioritize assignments according to business needs.
Excellent planning organizational and teamwork skills.
