An opportunity for a fixedterm/temporary Robotic Camera Operator is available.
The fixedterm/temporary Robotic Camera Operator is responsible for supporting NJ Spotlight newscasts remote productions/uplinks and live/pretape productions via the utilization of robotic camera equipment and software.
Please note this is a fixedterm temporary role to provide oncall support.
Specific responsibilities include:
Oversee live operation of multiple Panasonic and Sony robotic cameras across multiple locations and multiple studios;
Work with technical and production staff to satisfy production needs for live taped and automated programming under supervision of Technical Director Reporters and Producers;
Format preprogrammed video shots using video software;
Coordinate camera look and shading for all cameras across multiple studios and locations;
Manage studio lighting and board programming for all studio sets;
Manage all moves focusing presets and shot recalls;
Operation of robotic cameras as needed;
Other relevant duties as assigned.
Qualified candidates will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as a team player who works well in a fastpaced dynamic news environment. Other qualifications include:
A minimum of two (2) years experience in live multicamera studio production including experience with Panasonic or Sony robotics;
Proficiency with Telemetrics robotic controls and software;
Ability to work flexible hours.
