The principal duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
Schedule all inbound appointments and operate the Inbound Delivery Monitor
Processing outbound functions through the Pick Wave Monitor
Create edit and update all inbound deliveries
File all receiving documentation daily
Process all Proof of Delivery requests in a timely manner
Provide customer service to vendors customers and internal employees
Provide direction and assignments to the workforce in conjunction with receiving supervisor
Process and prepare shipping documents for local long haul routes
Help with phone coverage
Operate the Pick Wave Monitor and prepare labels for shipping and loading
Assign work to crew and give direction for loading process in conjunction with shipping supervisor
Internal distribution dock auditing
Returns processing
Other duties assigned by management
External Qualifications :
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Required
Education
- HSD or equivalent preferred
Experience
- 1year of warehouse office experience preferred
Preferred
Minimum of 2 years previous clerical experience in a distribution environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to use a PC to send and receive an email as well as operate programs in MS Office Suite
Intermediate proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (specifically MS Word and MS Excel)
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Ability to follow detailed instructions
Ability to adhere to Edward Don & Companys Standards of Conduct policy
Previous SAP experience
