Job Description
Were looking for a reliable hardworking General Farm Hand to assist with basic property maintenance and light barn/horse support. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys outdoor work is selfmotivated and takes pride in keeping a property looking its best.
Responsibilities:
General property upkeep and maintenance
Mowing weed eating and trimming
Cleaning paddocks and mucking stalls
Checking fences waterers and overall property condition
Assisting with basic barn duties (sweeping feeding tidying etc.)
Occasionally checking in on horses (no advanced handling required)
Ideal Candidate:
Dependable and able to work independently
Comfortable around horses and farm animals (no riding or advanced handling expected)
Physically capable of outdoor handson work in all weather
Takes initiative and notices when something needs doing
Prior farm or property maintenance experience is a plus but not required
Schedule & Flexibility:
Weekday hours are short and consistent perfect for early risers or those with other parttime commitments
Saturdays require a fullday availability
Summer months offer flexible scheduling once tasks are completed you can set your own hours
Schedule:
MondayFriday: 7:00 or 8:00 AM 10:30 AM
Saturdays: Fullday availability preferred
Summer Months: Flexible hours work can be completed at your own pace
Requirements:
Must be 18 years or older
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
Comfortable working around horses and other farm animals
Able to operate basic equipment (push/rideon mowers weed eaters etc.)
Physically fit and able to lift 4050 lbs work in various weather conditions and perform manual labor
Selfmotivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Available to work MondayFriday mornings and full Saturdays; flexible in summer months
Basic mechanical or maintenance knowledge is a plus but not required
Must be dependable punctual and take pride in a job well done
