Job Description

Woot is the original daily deals site founded in 2004 and snatched up by Amazon in 2010. Originally Woot offered just one product per day until we sold out. Today we offer special daily deals and other limitedtime offers across seven categories on the Woot website. We also sell a bunch of stuff on the Amazon Marketplace platform too.

We are looking for an Associate Vendor Manager who is a passionate customer and category advocate with proven ability to organize a significant amount of data and product information for customerfacing merchandising events. You will assist in sourcing inventory from key stakeholders and evaluating this inventory to run exciting deals on .

You will also be responsible for the deal content and listings on Woot ensuring we provide the best customer experience. This role will involve being very handson and having heightened attention to detail to deliver a seamless buying experience for the customer.

Key job responsibilities
A successful Associate Vendor Manager must:

Be customer obsessed! We start with the customer and work backwards
Effectively prioritize workload identifying and then focusing on the most urgent tasks
Excel in a working culture where accountability transparency and collaboration are the norm and where rapid deep dives into data and financial performance is a standard operating practice
Drive actionable insights from large data sets and be comfortable taking swift and decisive action on a daily basis
Demonstrate profound bias for action. In the deals business every minute counts!
. Excel at collaborating with different stakeholders to understand their requirements and execute accordingly

About the team
This role will support the Home Team in ensuring all products are set up and displayed accurately to provide the best customer experience possible on . The Home Team sources products from a multitude of vendors and brands that offer products in the following categories: Kitchen Home Office Furniture Bedding/Mattresses Bath Luggage Floorcare Home Environment Baby Toys Pet Arts & Crafts Home Decor and Storage & Organization.

1 years of account management project or program management or buying experience
Bachelors degree
Experience using Excel and other business analytic tools

Experience with software and editing tools (including HTML Excel and SQL)
Experience in online retail
Experience using analytical specific tools such as Google Analytics SQL or HTML
Experience writing and building merchandising content
