Job Description
Must hold or be eligible for Oregon teaching certificate.
Posted salary is based on the current prorated 202425 collective bargaining agreement (CBA).
The District also offers $1200 per month insurance benefit (prorated based on 2425 CBA) and the District pays the employee portion of the PERS contribution. District accepts up to 7 years teaching experience.
Monroe Oregon is a community of 680 with approximately 2500 people in the surrounding area. The school is a hub in an area of agriculture including forestry the wine industry grass seed mint Christmas trees and vegetable seed crops. We also have a number ofresidents who commute to Corvallis and Eugene. The city of Monroe is nestled against the first foothills of the Coast Range mountains facing the Willamette Valley. Highway 99 West connects Monroe to the city of Corvallis (home of Oregon State University) 17 miles to the north and the city of Eugene (home of University of Oregon) 23 miles to the south. The Oregon Coast is about 1 hours to the west while Portland is less than 2 hours to the north. Bend and Central Oregon are also less than 2 hours to the east. Monroe is in an ideal location for access to all the beauty that is Oregon. A rural setting with a progressive school district.
