Technical Lead- AI-based Autonomous Driving Systems

As the Technology Lead AIbased Autonomous Driving Systems your primary objective will be to leverage your expertise to drive the development and deployment of AI technology for automated driving at Bosch. You will be responsible for guiding the development teams to provide the functional architecture that ensures competitive performance. Together with the Csuite management you will be developing the organization to be capable of delivering such a product.

Tasks:

• Lead the Bosch L2 ADAS product development focusing on the usage of stateoftheart E2E AI architectures.
• Provide technical guidance to our global development team based on firsthand experience with taking an E2E AI L2 ADAS product to market.
• Drive fundamental E2E AI architecture design decisions and ensure their successful implementation.
• Develop the organizations capabilities to deliver safe and highquality AIbased autonomous driving systems.
• Work closely with the datadriven software development and development ecosystem to ensure seamless integration of AI technologies.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure the successful delivery of AIbased autonomous driving systems.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends and advancements in AIbased autonomous driving systems to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications:

• Master or PhD in Computer Science Electrical Engineering or similar 
• 10 years of experience in datadriven software engineering and product development of AIbased autonomous driving systems 
• Proven industry experience in product development and public road release of AIbased autonomous driving systems 
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively lead and collaborate with R&D teams 
• Knowledge of PaaS approach using cloud as a foundation e.g. MS Azure 
• Profound knowledge in mapping AImodels on embedded and resource constrained hardware 
• Proficient in coding e.g. with C Python 
• Proven track record of leading the endtoend development and successful deployment of complex AIpowered systems into production environments at scale

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven leadership skills of large heterogeneous and global project teams including engineers product and project managers as well as financial staff e.g. controlling 
• Comfortable in interacting with CSuite management to develop overall vision and its implementation  
• Knowledge regarding the automated driving technology and the automotive industry in general including relevant automotive standards as ISO26262 

Additional Information :

The U.S. base salary range for this fulltime position is $240000 $300000. Within the range individual pay is determined based on several factors including but not limited to work experience and job knowledge complexity of the role job location etc. This range does not include annual bonus percentage nor any other monetary considerations for the total compensation package.
