Headquartered in Cleveland Ohio and operating across the globe we are a trusted partner to our financial institution FinTech money service business and corporate clients.
We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our EMEA team. This person will be supporting the accounting operations of the company including financial reporting month end closing BS reconciliation. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the German language excellent analytical skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and post accounts payable transactions
- Perform the BS reconciliations in NET CLOSE
- Maintain the general ledger and prepare the journal entries in NET SUITE
- Preparation of the IC invoices
- Assist with monthend and yearend closing activities
- Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analyses
- Monitor payment schedules and follow up on outstanding invoices
- Archive and manage accounting documentation in accordance with company policy
- Process the reimbursement in HR works
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelors degree in accounting Finance Economics or a related field
- app. 12 years of experience in accounting
- Professional working proficiency in German (C1)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; comfortable with pivot tables and basic formulas
- Experience with accounting software knowledge of NET SUITE is a plus
- Good command of English both written and spoken
- Strong attention to detail reliability and a sense of responsibility
